In 2016, the “Stomp The Runway” fashion show made its anticipated return to Philadelphia, four years after 2012’s “Stomp The Runway Against Domestic Abuse”. Founder, Rashad Corey, 2012 Graduate of the Philadelphia Art Institute, teamed up with local production firm, Rebel Hill Consulting and Stylist, Ursula Styles to revamp the charitable fashion show and bring awareness of Sexual Abuse to the forefront. Proceeds from STR2016 benefited Women Organized Against Rape.
STR2016 Included 10 designers, live music, a “vendor village” and a celebrity catwalk that included Bernard Hopkins and Loraine Ballard Morril! The team is has already discussed production of a STR2018 but have yet to release the cause they will champion next.
